I thought I would come out of the shadows and introduce myself -
I’m Michelle and I co-own Color Me Daisy with my husband Mike. We have an 18 month old son and we are expecting boy number 2 in mid-November. I started scrapbooking in 2002, and quickly became immersed in it. I mostly scrapbook my son, our two princess puppies and our family. I don’t care if I am ever “caught up”, I quit worrying about that a couple of years ago. I prefer to enjoy the process instead. My style is mostly simple, but I like to dig in and get dirty sometimes too.
I would like to see Color Me Daisy evolve into a fun community for scrapbookers to share and learn from one another. We hope the kits draw you in and the people make you want to stay. I look forward to getting to know all of you soon!
Here is a recent layout I did. Enjoy!

Time to meet another Daisy Girl. Today we have Deanna MIsner -
Hi! I’m Deanna Misner (DMisner). I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for six years and I’m a stay-at-home mom to our two little girls. And when I’m not scrapbooking you can find me coaching volleyball, playing outside with the girls, or doing my best to be a momma-razzi.(My camera goes with me everywhere I go.)
When I started scrapbooking six years ago, I had no clue that the hobby would become my passion or that it would teach me to enjoy the simple everyday moments of my life. As my style and my layouts have evolved I’ve learned to appreciate more about life. Not only has scrapbooking has taught me to capture life as I know it, but I’ve also learned to enjoy the process of the hobby. I’ve decided that for me it’s okay not the be “caught up”. Instead to enjoy what initially drew me in. I love to cut, ink, stamp, distress, paint, and create! I like trying new techniques, and I like that I give myself permission to play. Through scrapbooking I’ve learned to love life, create often, and enjoy the process!
I’m thrilled to be chosen as a Daisy Girl, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Color Me Daisy Design Team!
I just love this layout from Deanna -
I hope you enjoyed meeting our Daisy Girls Design Team.

Say hello to today’s Daisy Girl, Mara Campbell:
Hi everyone! I’m Mara and I’m very honored and excited to be a Daisy Girl!! I’ve been scrapping ever since I received a camera as my 8th grade graduation present. I work full time as a molecular biologist and have a wonderful family which includes 2 kiddies and a homebrewing husband. I usually scrap in the wee hours of the night when the kids are sleeping. I enjoy photography and am slowly learning how to actually use my camera. I draw inspiration from the world around me and love capturing the little moments of our lives in photos. I pretty much love everything about scrapping, give me some chipboard, paint and buttons…and I’m a happy girl! I enjoy connecting with new people through scrapping, some of my best scrapping buddies are also my best girlfriends.
I can’t wait to share my scrappy self with you and draw inspiration from all the wonderful talent out in the scrappy world. Scrap On!!
Enjoy this beauty…
Check back tomorrow for another introduction.

It’s time to meet another Daisy Girl. Today we are introducing Melina Borrero:
Hello I’m Melina Borrero. I live in Florida. I have 4 beautiful cats that I adore. I was my family photographer as a kid. This is how my interest in memory keeping started. I started collecting scrapbooks supplies in 1997 and started my first album years later. Now, I have many albums completed and some in the process of being completed. Today, I scrapbook regularly, as a part of my daily diet. I blog, vlog, scrap, make cards, and take photographs. I have been on the design teams of two local scrapbook stores in the past two years.
And here is a beautiful layout from Melina:
Check back tommorrow for another Daisy Girl introduction.

First up is Raechelle Bellus:
HI! I’m Raechelle (pronounced Rachel) Bellus and I am thrilled to have been selected to be on the Color Me Daisy team! I am married to the love of my life and am blessed to be a SAHM of 4 precious and beautiful girls; 2 teens, a ‘tween and a drama queen. We also have 2 dogs, 5 cats and several fish. There is rarely a dull moment around here.
I have been scrapping about 6 years now and my style is definitely girly, but I try to mix it up here and there. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. My favorite embellishments are buttons, rub-on’s, chipboard, and flowers, and I do a lot of hand-stitching which is my latest obsession. I like to do a wide variety of projects and am always looking to improve.
My other hobbies include reading, playing games with the girls and working puzzles.
And here is a little eye candy from Raechelle:
We are looking forward to lots more for Raechelle, I am sure you are too.

We are so excited to announce the inaugural team of Daisy Girls. I had no idea how hard it would be to narrow down the submissions to the final team until I started reviewing all of the applications. We originally set out to find 5 Daisy Girls for our design team, and after narrowing them down, we ended up with 6. I am pleased to announce that the following ladies are now Daisy Girls:
Raechelle Bellus, Spokane Valley, WA
Melina Borrero, North Miami, FL
Mara Campbell, Moorpark, CA
Kristi Lockart, Belgrade, MT
Deanna Misner, Chattanooga, TN
Michelle Thomas-Smith – Jacksonville, FL
Please join me in welcoming and congratulating this talented group of ladies that will be representing Color Me Daisy.
It was a lot of fun to look at all the eye candy in everyone’s submissions, blogs, and galleries. I am excited about the interest we had in our design team and I want to thank everyone that submitted for their entries.
